Step 1: Request a quote
- please email email@example.com with the following:
1. Your name
2. Date of your prom
3. Photo or description of your gown inspo - Please include color, material and any other specifications as needed.
- to receive a free quote you must know how you want your dress designed, the color, and the material of the gown you wish to have created.
If you do not know exactly what you want and you would like us to help you come up with a design or help you choose material and color, there is a consultation fee of $25.
Please note -
*You may use other designers pictures for INSPO ONLY, we will not duplicate another designers work. We do not make replicas.
*CUSTOM PROM DESIGNS START AT $400.
*We will conduct all quotes through email/text only. This helps us keep up with everyone's quotes and conversations.
If you are unsure on any details of your item, please state that and we will provide you with the link to pay your consultation fee.
Step 2: Deposit
Once you have your quote the next step will be to sign your contract and pay your deposit. Your deposit is $200. This deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE.
This deposit will hold your slot for prom, as we only accept a certain amount of prom orders a year.
50% of your dress total must be paid no later than 8 weeks before your prom date. If you miss your deadline, we will accept your order on a case by case basis and there will be a rush fee of $100 - $250 depending on the details and time frame you item needs to be done by.
When you are ready to pay the remaining 50% please email firstname.lastname@example.org or text 281-317-7411 and we will send you the link to pay.
*If your material has to be ordered, we will show you examples of your material and or pictures of the actual material you chose. We will order your material once your contract is signed and 50% of the total is paid for.
* Please note that all deposits are NON refundable. Your materials for your gown is ordered the same day or next business day when your payment is received. If you need to cancel for any reason, you will lose your deposit.
Step 3: Sizing
Your measurements will be needed for the best fit of your gown! After your deposit is paid, you will then receive a custom measurement chart which will be able to be printed out and filled out by you, a parent, a friend, or you may also visit your local bridal shop, Victoria Secret, or a tailor.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure that your measurements are accurate. We can not be held responsible for inaccurate measurements. Your gown will be made custom to the measurements provided.
Step 4: Fittings
Your remaining balance will be due before your item ships. It's best to have this paid as soon as possible to avoid delays in delivery.
We aim to have your item delivered to you at least 3 weeks before your prom date.
Please try your item on immediately upon receiving it. So you can make sure it fits perfectly. If any adjustments are needed contact us immediately so we can face time you to do a virtual fitting.
You will be required to ship the item back. Once we receive it back you will be our top priority and we will make the necessary adjustments and return it to you.
Shipping Cost: the shipping costs will vary by zip code, weight of your package, and delivery method chosen (priority/Express)
** Please note: In no case will the gown be able to leave out of Astonishing Apparel's possession if it is not paid in full.
Step 5: Slay Away
Please tag us and/or send us pictures and videos of you in your Astonishing gown on your special day so we can repost/share!
